My Top Red Carpet Looks

So with the awards season for this year officially being over, and my exams being over, giving me time to spend hours of magical free time on the internet, I have decided to look back at some of my favourite red carpet looks over the past 4 years or so. I know I have left out lots that I can't remember, but these were ones that immediately came to mind.

Rihanna in Azzadine Alaia- 2013 Grammy Awards
I love the sheer panelling at the top and its beautiful train. This is really beautiful.
Sharon Stone in Roberto Cavalli- 2013 Cannes Film Festival
This is just absolutely stunning, I did like the back but I did think it
brought down the dress a bit. But in general this is just such a win for her.
I think her body looks great and it is just so perfectly tailored.

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab- 2012 Billboard Music Awards:
Only comment is that I would have put her hair up in a low messy bun
or a slick ponytail because the dress has a beautiful high neck-line.

Charlize Theron in Dior- 2012 Golden Globes
I just love this. Firstly her hair and make up are perfect. Because
she has a fairly flat chest, this plunging neckline is so great on her and
the dress also shows off her amazing legs.

Mila Kunis in Elie Saab- 2011 Oscars
I have nothing more to say than THIS IS PERFECTION.

Angelina Jolie in Versace- 2011 Golden Globes
I love love the colour, it did photograph very differently,
in the second picture of this, you can see how the green appears to be
much darker, but either way, I love both.

Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein- 2011 Oscars
This is just proof of how sometimes, simplicity is key. I loved this
dress, I can remember watching the live red carpet feed with Ryan
Seacrest and being shocked at how beautifully she wore this.

Lea Michele in Elie Saab- 2013 Golden Globes
I can't quite pinpoint what I like about this dress specifically
but there is just something so pretty about it, and I do love Elie
Saab.
Zooey Deschanel in Oscar De La Renta- 2013 Golden Globes
This red, simple strapless dress is just so pretty and fit her so well.
I am not sure if I like the pearls, wouldn't have been my first choice of jewellery,
but her hair and make-up are great and I love the dress.

Claire Danes in Lanvin- 2012 Emmy Awards
Firstly, keep in mind that she was pregnant. I don't know why
I loved this dress, and I know a lot of people didn't love it but 1) I think
the bright pop of colour is great and 2) for her pregnancy, the low cut waist line
and its simplicity are perfect. I loved this.

Nina Dovrev in Donna Karan- 2011 Emmy Awards
This dress is just so well fitted and paired with perfect hair and makeup
I think Nina looked absolutly beautiful. Again, perfect example of what great tailoring
can do for you.
